Tips, Advice and Things to Bear in Mind 

Floor Bearers

We strongly recommend the use of floor bearers when installing our units. These are pressure treated timber sections designed to extend the life of your unit by allowing the circulation of air under the unit and, more importantly, the prevention of penetrative rising damp through the floor section

Access

It is important that we are made aware, at the time of ordering, if you have any restricted access such as a garage doorway. Our delivery team cannot carry buildings over garage roofs or through houses due to insurance restrictions. We reserve the right to impose a surcharge for an aborted delivery.

Prices

Please be aware that some of our suppliers will only provide a unit on a delivered & erected basis, this is to ensure strict quality control. Others will supply deliver only. These alternatives are indicated on the price list.

Sizes

As with all timber buildings, the sizes quoted in this price list are external, nominal and subject to variations. Timber is a living product and as such is subject to shrinkage and expansion during prevailing weather conditions. The number of windows supplied is dependant upon the size of the unit.

Installation

It is necessary for the customer to provide a firm level base, preferably in paving flags or concrete, to erect our units efficiently. We reserve the right to impose a surcharge for re-visiting should your base be unsuitable.
